American actor Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. She began her career with support roles in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002) and She's the Man (2006). Then, she portrayed the role of reporter Willa McPherson in the FX series Dirt. Also, she played an appearance as a support character on FX's short-lived series The Ex List. In the very first season she starred in the role of Moira O'Hara in the role of an untried Moira as well as in the season 2, she played Kaylee. She played Jessie Anderson on AMC's The Walking Dead, and Sophie on the NBC show This Is Us. She also voiced a number of characters in Family Guy's animated comedy series. She has been voiced by Melinda "Mel" Monroe in Netflix's Virgin River since 2019. Breckenridge was born in Darien in Connecticut. She moved to California with her mother at the age of 10. The family went through a few moves before eventually moving to Mill Valley. Breckenridge was 13 when she began taking an interest in acting, photography and singing. Breckenridge moved back to Los Angeles with the help from her mother, who was 15.
